In Monday's non-league match, the host Moriarty Pintos football squad scored a close 28-26 victory over the Santa Fe Demons.
In their next game, the Pintos clash with the Bernalillo Spartans (Bernalillo, NM) in a non-league match, on Monday, September 4. Moriarty will attempt to move on its 1-0 season record. The Spartans enter the match with a 0-1 record after their 16-8 non-league loss to Highland (Albuquerque, NM).
The Demons (1-1) will now prepare for their match against Taos (Taos, NM). The Tigers enter the non-league match with a 0-1 record.
