Von Steuben Panthers (Chicago, IL) fans were pleased Monday as they observed their soccer team hold off the host Maine East Blue Demons (Park Ridge, IL), 3-2 in a non-league challenge.
Next, the Panthers confront the Whitney Young Dolphins (Chicago, IL) in a non-league challenge, on Wednesday, August 30. Von Steuben will attempt to better on its 4-0 season record. The Dolphins enter the challenge with a 0-1 record after their 1-0 non-league loss to Payton College Prep (Chicago, IL).
The Blue Demons now have a 1-3 record. They take the field next when they travel to Wheeling for a non-league challenge on Friday, September 1.
