The Oakwood/Catlin Comets soccer team scored 3 points and limited the visiting Monticello Sages to 1 in the Comets non-league victory on Monday.

Next, the Comets face the Hoopeston Cornjerkers (Hoopeston, IL) in a Vermilion Valley contest, on Tuesday, August 29. Oakwood/Catlin will attempt to better on its 2-1 season record.
