In Monday's non-league battle, the visiting West Cabarrus Wolverines soccer squad scored a close 5-2 win over the Olympic Trojans.
The Wolverines (7-0) will now prepare for their battle against Ashbrook (Gastonia, NC). The Greenwave go into the non-league battle with a 0-2 record. In their last bout, Ashbrook Foard (Newton, NC), 2-2, in a non-league bout.
In their next game, the Trojans battle the Butler Bulldogs (Matthews, NC) in a non-league bout, on Wednesday, August 30. Olympic will attempt to move on its 2-2 season record. The Bulldogs enter the bout with a 0-1 record after their 4-3 non-league loss to Bradford Prep (Charlotte, NC).
