Spectators at Monday's non-league match between the Bristow Pirates (Bristow, OK) and the visiting Morrison Wildcats (Morrison, OK), witnessed Bristow's softball squad prevail over Morrison by a count of 9-1.

The Pirates now sport a 12-5 record. They play next when they travel to Inola for a 4A District 7 match on Tuesday, August 29. Bristow will face a Longhorns squad coming off a 7-1 non-league loss to Verdigris (Claremore, OK). The Longhorns record now stands at 2-9.

With the loss, Morrison moves to 7-10 on the season. The Wildcats travel to Frontier (Red Rock, OK) to face the Mustangs in a non-league match on Thursday, August 31. The Mustangs go into the match with a record of 18-4. Frontier won 2-0 in their recent league match against Kremlin-Hillsdale (Kremlin, OK)
