Stuart Hornets (Stuart, OK) fans exited the stadium thrilled Monday as they saw their softball squad nip the host Indianola Warriors (Indianola, OK), 5-1 in a non-league challenge.

The Hornets now sport a 16-4 record. They take the field next when they travel to Kiowa for a Class B challenge on Monday, August 28. Stuart will face a Cowboys squad coming off a 4-3 non-league loss to Rattan (Rattan, OK). The Cowboys record now stands at 12-6.

With the loss, Indianola falls to 13-16 on the campaign. The Warriors host Haileyville (Haileyville, OK) to face the Warriors in a Class A challenge on Tuesday, September 5. The Warriors enter the challenge with a record of 2-11.
