Lawson Cardinals (Lawson, MO) backers exited the stadium thrilled Monday as they saw their softball squad run past the host Lafayette County Huskers (Higginsville, MO), 15-1 in a non-league challenge.

The Cardinals now own a 1-0 record. They take the field next when they host Richmond for a non-league challenge on Tuesday, August 29.
