Georgia High School Softball - Taylor County bounces Upson-Lee

The Taylor County Vikings (Butler, GA) softball routed the host Upson-Lee Knights (Thomaston, GA), 12-0 in Monday's non-league bout.

The Vikings (7-0) will now prepare for their bout against Marion County (Buena Vista, GA). The Eagles go into the 1A D-II Region 6 bout with a 7-5 record. In their last bout, Marion County toppled Shaw (Columbus, GA), 10-1, in a non-league bout.

The Knights now possess a 1-8 record. They play next when they travel to Jasper County for a non-league bout on Tuesday, August 29. Upson-Lee will confront a Hurricanes squad coming off a 7-6 non-league win over Griffin (Griffin, GA). The Hurricanes record now stands at 6-4.
