The Durant Wildcats topped the host Bellevue Comets volleyball team by a score of 3-1 in Monday's non-league test.
The Wildcats now have a 4-1 record. They put it on the line next when they host West Liberty for a River Valley South test on Saturday, September 2. Durant will confront a Comets team coming off a 3-0 league win over Tipton (Tipton, IA). The Comets record now stands at 4-3.
The Comets (4-2) will now prepare for their test against Monticello (Monticello, IA). The Panthers enter the River Valley North test with a 3-2 record. In their last test, Monticello gained a win over Central City (Central City, IA), 2-0, in a non-league test.
