The Central Private Redhawks volleyball team scored 3 points and limited the visiting Port Allen Pelicans to 0 in the Redhawks non-league victory on Monday.

The Redhawks now have a 1-0 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Ursuline Academy for a non-league game on Friday, September 1. Central Private will meet a Lions team coming off a 3-0 non-league win over St. Charles Catholic (LaPlace, LA). The Lions record now stands at 1-1.

The Pelicans (0-1) will now prepare for their game against Catholic of Pointe Coupee (New Roads, LA). The Hornets enter the non-league game with a 0-0 record.
