The Destrehan Wildcats volleyball team scored 3 points and limited the host Crescent City Christian Pioneers to 0 in the Wildcats non-league victory on Monday.
The Wildcats now have a 1-0 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Riverside Academy for a non-league game on Thursday, August 31.
The Pioneers (0-1) will now prepare for their game against St. Martin's Episcopal (Metairie, LA). The Saints enter the Division V District 8 game with a 0-2 record. In their last game, St. Martin's Episcopal dropped by Academy of the Sacred Heart (Grand Coteau, LA), 3-1, in a non-league game.
