The crowd at Monday's non-league bout between the Highlands Latin Highlanders (Louisville, KY) and the host Fern Creek Tigers (Louisville, KY), saw Highlands Latin's volleyball squad beat Fern Creek by a tally of 2-0.

With the win, Highlands Latin upgrades its record to 5-1 on the year. The Highlanders host Sacred Heart (Louisville, KY) to play the Valkyries in a District 27 bout on Wednesday, August 30. The Valkyries go into the bout with a record of 9-2. Sacred Heart won 3-2 in their recent non-league bout against Assumption (Louisville, KY)

The Tigers now own a 4-6 record. They play next when they host Fort Knox for a non-league bout on Tuesday, August 29. Fern Creek will play a Eagles squad coming off a 3-0 league loss to Central Hardin (Cecilia, KY). The Eagles record now stands at 0-11.
