The Lexington Minutemen volleyball team scored 2 points and limited the host Gardner-South Wilmington Panthers to 0 in the Minutemen non-league victory on Monday.

The Minutemen now have a 4-2 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Prairie Central for a non-league game on Tuesday, August 29. Lexington will meet a Hawks team coming off a 2-0 non-league win over Herscher (Herscher, IL). The Hawks record now stands at 9-0.

The Panthers (0-4) will now prepare for their game against Beecher (Beecher, IL). The Bobcats enter the River Valley game with a 2-1 record. In their last game, Beecher gained a win over Wilmington (Wilmington, IL), 2-1, in a non-league game.
