Illinois High School Volleyball - Lakes over Johnsburg

The crowd at Monday's non-league bout between the Lakes Eagles (Lake Villa, IL) and the visiting Johnsburg Skyhawks (Johnsburg, IL), saw Lakes's volleyball squad beat Johnsburg by a tally of 2-0.

With the win, Lakes upgrades its record to 4-4 on the year. The Eagles host Carmel (Mundelein, IL) to play the Corsairs in a non-league bout on Thursday, August 31. The Corsairs go into the bout with a record of 4-3. Carmel lost 2-0 in their recent non-league bout against Warren Township (Gurnee, IL)

The Skyhawks now own a 1-2 record. They play next when they travel to Grayslake North for a non-league bout on Tuesday, August 29. Johnsburg will play a Knights squad coming off a 2-0 non-league win over Marian Catholic (Chicago Heights, IL). The Knights record now stands at 3-3.
