The Keota Eagles volleyball team scored 3 points and limited the host Pekin Panthers to 0 in the Eagles non-league victory on Monday.
The Eagles now have a 4-0 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Notre Dame for a non-league game on Tuesday, August 29. Keota will meet a Nikes team coming off a 2-0 non-league loss to Red Oak (Red Oak, IA). The Nikes record now stands at 5-5.
The Panthers (0-4) will now prepare for their game against Highland (Riverside, IA). The Huskies enter the SEI - North game with a 1-1 record. In their last game, Highland dropped by Belle Plaine (Belle Plaine, IA), 2-0, in a non-league game.
