California High School Volleyball - Sherman Oaks CES over Lake Balboa College Prep

In Monday's non-league contest, the Sherman Oaks CES Knights (Reseda, CA) volleyball squad knocked off the visiting Lake Balboa College Prep Cougars (Lake Balboa, CA), by a margin of 3-1.

Next up, the Knights battle the Verdugo Hills Dons (Tujunga, CA) in a non-league contest, on Wednesday, August 30. Sherman Oaks CES will attempt to better on its 3-1 season record. The Dons come into the contest with a 2-0 record after their 3-0 league win over Monroe (North Hills, CA).

With the loss, Lake Balboa College Prep drops to 1-2 on the campaign. The Cougars travel to Sun Valley Magnet (Sun Valley, CA) to battle the Pioneers in a Central Valley contest on Thursday, August 31. The Pioneers come into the contest with a record of 2-2. Sun Valley Magnet won 3-1 in their recent non-league contest against Valley Academy of Arts & Sciences (Granada Hills, CA)
