The Lake Lure Classical Academy Raptors volleyball team (Lake Lure, NC), was dropped 3-0 in Monday's league challenge with the visiting Nebo Crossing Academy Bulldogs (Nebo, NC)

The Bulldogs (1-3) will now prepare for their challenge against Long Shoals Wesleyan Academy (Lincolnton, NC). The Crusaders enter the Western Piedmont Athletic challenge with a 0-1 record. In their last challenge, Long Shoals Wesleyan Academy was dropped by Reynolds Mountain Christian Academy (Asheville, NC), 3-0, in a league challenge.

Next, the Raptors meet the Community Christian Academy Warriors (Bessemer City, NC) in a Western Piedmont Athletic challenge, on Thursday, August 31. Lake Lure Classical Academy will attempt to move on its 0-1 season record.
