North Carolina High School Volleyball - Lake Norman over Porter Ridge

In Monday's non-league contest, the Lake Norman Wildcats (Mooresville, NC) volleyball squad knocked off the visiting Porter Ridge Pirates (Indian Trail, NC), by a margin of 3-0.

Next up, the Wildcats battle the A.L. Brown Wonders (Kannapolis, NC) in a Greater Metro 4A contest, on Thursday, August 31. Lake Norman will attempt to better on its 9-0 season record. The Wonders come into the contest with a 2-5 record after their 3-0 league loss to Hickory Ridge (Harrisburg, NC).

With the loss, Porter Ridge drops to 5-1 on the campaign. The Pirates host Monroe (Monroe, NC) to battle the Redhawks in a non-league contest on Tuesday, August 29. The Redhawks come into the contest with a record of 0-3. Monroe lost 3-0 in their recent non-league contest against Victory Christian Center (Charlotte, NC)
