The crowd at Monday's non-league bout between the Russell County Lakers (Russell Springs, KY) and the host Larue County Hawks (Hodgenville, KY), saw Russell County's volleyball squad beat Larue County by a tally of 3-0.

With the win, Russell County upgrades its record to 7-3 on the year. The Lakers travel to Taylor County (Campbellsville, KY) to play the Cardinals in a non-league bout on Wednesday, August 30. The Cardinals go into the bout with a record of 9-3. Taylor County won 3-0 in their recent league bout against Adair County (Columbia, KY)

The Hawks now own a 3-4 record. They play next when they host Thomas Nelson for a non-league bout on Thursday, August 31. Larue County will play a Generals squad coming off a 3-1 non-league win over North Hardin Christian (Radcliff, KY). The Generals record now stands at 7-6.
