Thatcher Eagles (Thatcher, AZ) backers exited the stadium content Monday as they saw their volleyball squad notch a victory over the host Sabino Sabercats (Tucson, AZ), 3-0 in a league outing.

With the win, Thatcher betters its record to 1-1 on the year. The Eagles host Walden Grove (Sahuarita, AZ) to face the Red Wolves in a non-league outing on Wednesday, August 30. The Red Wolves go into the outing with a record of 0-0.

The Sabercats now sport a 0-1 record. They play next when they host Mica Mountain for a non-league outing on Wednesday, August 30. Sabino will face a Thunderbolts squad coming off a 3-1 non-league loss to Catalina Foothills (Tucson, AZ). The Thunderbolts record now stands at 0-1.
