With the win, Hilltop improves its record to 1-1 on the season. The Lancers host Grossmont (El Cajon, CA) to encounter the Foothillers in a non-league battle on Thursday, August 29. The Foothillers go into the battle with a record of 0-0.

The Knights now own a 1-4 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Escondido Charter for a battle on Friday, September 6.
