California High School Flag Football - Bella Vista nudged by Whitney

In Wednesday's non-league game, the Whitney Wildcats (Rocklin, CA) flag football team edged the visiting Bella Vista Broncos (Fair Oaks, CA), by a tally of 13-12.

In their next game, the Wildcats battle the Lodi Flames (Lodi, CA) in a non-league game, on Saturday, August 31. Whitney will attempt to better on its 1-0 season record. The Flames enter the game with a 5-1 record after their 38-12 non-league win over Laguna Creek (Elk Grove, CA).

The Broncos (2-1) will now prepare for their game against Mesa Verde (Citrus Heights, CA). The Mavericks enter the non-league game with a 0-1 record. In their last game, Mesa Verde was edged by Pioneer (Woodland, CA), 32-0, in a non-league game.
