George Washington Prep Generals (Los Angeles, CA) followers went home pleased Wednesday as they saw their flag football team nip the visiting South Gate Rams (South Gate, CA), 13-6 in a non-league battle.

With the win, George Washington Prep advances its record to 1-0 on the season. The Generals host Crenshaw (Los Angeles, CA) to play the Cougars in a Coliseum battle on Monday, September 9. The Cougars go into the battle with a record of 1-1. Crenshaw won 30-6 in their recent non-league battle against Narbonne (Harbor City, CA)

The Rams now own a 2-1 record. They play next when they travel to Maywood CES for a non-league battle on Wednesday, August 28. South Gate will play a Wolfpack team coming off a 6-0 non-league loss to South East (South Gate, CA). The Wolfpack record now stands at 1-1.
