St. Francis Gladiators (Traverse City, MI) fans went home in high spirits Wednesday as they saw their football team achieve victory over the host Charlevoix Rayders (Charlevoix, MI), 34-8 in a non-league battle.

With the win, St. Francis improves its record to 1-0 on the season. The Gladiators host Lawton (Lawton, MI) to play the Blue Devils in a non-league battle on Saturday, September 7. The Blue Devils go into the battle with a record of 0-0.

The Rayders now have a 0-1 record. They play next when they travel to Glen Lake for a non-league battle on Thursday, September 5. Charlevoix will play a Lakers team coming off a 46-0 non-league win over Manton (Manton, MI). The Lakers record now stands at 1-0.
