In Wednesday's non-league match, the host Monroe Trojans football squad scored a good 24-6 triumph over the Crestwood Chargers.
The Trojans (1-0) will now prepare for their match against Huron (Ann Arbor, MI). The River Rats come into the non-league match with a 1-0 record. In their last match, Huron defeated Kearsley (Flint, MI), 24-8, in a non-league match.
