The Turner Ashby Knights (Bridgewater, VA) football knocked off the host Fort Defiance Indians (Fort Defiance, VA), 39-8 in Wednesday's non-league outing.

The Knights now sport a 1-0 record. They take the field next when they travel to Wilson Memorial for a non-league outing on Wednesday, September 4. Turner Ashby will clash with a Green Hornets squad coming off a 34-12 non-league win over Charlottesville (Charlottesville, VA). The Green Hornets record now stands at 1-0.

With the defeat, Fort Defiance drops to 0-1 on the campaign. The Indians travel to Alleghany (Covington, VA) to clash with the Cougars in a non-league outing on Thursday, September 5.
