North Carolina High School Football - Morehead overwhelmed by Rockingham County

The Rockingham County Cougars walloped the host Morehead Panthers football team by a score of 38-6 in Wednesday's non-league challenge.

In their next game, the Cougars face the Reidsville Rams (Reidsville, NC) in a non-league challenge, on Thursday, September 5. Rockingham County will attempt to improve on its 2-0 season record. The Rams enter the challenge with a 1-1 record after their 40-8 non-league loss to Page (Greensboro, NC).

The Panthers (0-1) will now prepare for their challenge against Northeast Guilford (McLeansville, NC). The Rams enter the non-league challenge with a 2-0 record. In their last challenge, Northeast Guilford bounced Western Guilford (Greensboro, NC), 36-0, in a non-league challenge.
