In Wednesday's non-league challenge, the visiting Maiden Blue Devils volleyball team scored a 2-0 victory over the Alexander Central Cougars.
The Blue Devils (2-2) will now prepare for their challenge against West Lincoln (Lincolnton, NC). The Rebels enter the non-league challenge with a 0-2 record. In their last challenge, West Lincoln was beaten by Bandys (Catawba, NC), 2-0, in a non-league challenge.
Next, the Cougars meet the Foard Tigers (Newton, NC) in a non-league challenge, on Thursday, August 29. Alexander Central will attempt to upgrade on its 1-6 season record.
