In Wednesday's league challenge, the host Mt. Vernon Marauders volleyball team scored a 2-0 triumph over the North Central Panthers.

The Marauders (1-1) will now prepare for their challenge against Triton Central (Fairland, IN). The Tigers come into the non-league challenge with a 3-0 record.

Next, the Panthers play the Warren Central Warriors (Indianapolis, IN) in a challenge, on Tuesday, September 3. North Central will attempt to upgrade on its 1-7 season record.
