In Wednesday's non-league challenge, the visiting Wake Forest Cougars volleyball team scored a 2-0 triumph over the Sanderson Spartans.
The Cougars (4-3) will now prepare for their challenge against Rocky Mount (Rocky Mount, NC). The Gryphons come into the non-league challenge with a 2-2 record. In their last challenge, Rocky Mount lost by Bunn (Bunn, NC), 2-0, in a non-league challenge.
Next, the Spartans meet the Riverside-Durham Pirates (Durham, NC) in a non-league challenge, on Thursday, August 29. Sanderson will attempt to upgrade on its 1-3 season record.
