In Wednesday's non-league outing, the visiting Brother Rice Crusaders soccer squad scored a tight 2-1 win over the Timothy Christian Trojans.
The Crusaders (1-0) will now prepare for their battle against Wheaton Academy (West Chicago, IL). The Warriors enter the non-league battle with a 0-0 record.
Next up, the Trojans battle the Hinsdale Central Red Devils (Hinsdale, IL) in a non-league battle, on Friday, August 30. Timothy Christian will attempt to upgrade on its 0-1 season record. The Red Devils enter the battle with a 0-1 record after their 4-1 non-league loss to Oswego East (Oswego, IL).
