The Trojans (1-2) will now prepare for their battle against West Johnston (Benson, NC). The Wildcats enter the non-league battle with a 4-2 record. In their last battle, West Johnston tipped Cleveland (Clayton, NC), 3-1, in a non-league battle.

Next up, the Spartans battle the Wakefield Wolverines (Raleigh, NC) in a non-league battle, on Tuesday, September 3. Smithfield-Selma will attempt to upgrade on its 3-2 season record. The Wolverines enter the battle with a 6-0 record after their 9-0 non-league win over Wake Prep Academy (Wake Forest, NC).
