The Southern Lehigh Spartans smashed the host Pen Argyl Green Knights soccer team by a tally of 5-0 in Wednesday's league game.
Next, the Spartans face the Perkiomen Valley Vikings (Collegeville, PA) in a non-league game, on Thursday, August 29. Southern Lehigh will attempt to advance on its 1-1 season record. The Vikings come into the game with a 2-0 record after their 3-1 non-league win over Daniel Boone (Birdsboro, PA).
The Green Knights (2-2) will now prepare for their game against Notre Dame-Green Pond (Easton, PA). The Crusaders come into the Colonial game with a 0-2 record. In their last game, Notre Dame-Green Pond was overwhelmed by Moravian Academy (Bethlehem, PA), 5-1, in a league game.
