In Wednesday's non-league match, the host East Coweta Indians softball team scored a nice 10-1 victory over the Heard County Braves.
The Indians (14-0) will now prepare for their match against Trinity Christian (Sharpsburg, GA). The Lions go into the non-league match with a 6-4 record. In their last match, Trinity Christian gained a win over Troup County (LaGrange, GA), 8-0, in a league match.
In their next game, the Braves battle the Darlington Tigers (Rome, GA) in a 1A D-I Region 6 match, on Thursday, August 29. Heard County will attempt to better on its 8-3 season record. The Tigers go into the match with a 0-6 record after their 15-0 non-league loss to Cedartown (Cedartown, GA).
