The crowd at Wednesday's non-league bout between the Mill Creek Hawks (Hoschton, GA) and the visiting East Forsyth Broncos (Gainesville, GA), observed Mill Creek's softball team prevail over East Forsyth by a tally of 15-7.

The Hawks (9-2) will now prepare for their bout against Collins Hill (Suwanee, GA). The Eagles go into the 6A Region 8 bout with a 1-8 record.

In their next game, the Broncos clash with the Cherokee Bluff Bears (Flowery Branch, GA) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, September 3. East Forsyth will attempt to advance on its 8-3 season record. The Bears go into the bout with a 8-4 record after their 5-0 league win over Monroe Area (Monroe, GA).
