Pennsylvania High School Volleyball - Bishop McCort overwhelmed by Bishop Guilfoyle

Bishop Guilfoyle Marauders (Altoona, PA) boosters left the game satisfied Wednesday as they saw their volleyball squad achieve victory over the host Bishop McCort Crushers (Johnstown, PA), 3-0 in a league test.

With the win, Bishop Guilfoyle improves its record to 1-1 on the season. The Marauders host Hollidaysburg (Hollidaysburg, PA) to face the Golden Tigers in a Laurel Highlands 2 test on Tuesday, September 3. The Golden Tigers go into the test with a record of 2-0. Hollidaysburg won 3-0 in their recent non-league test against Penns Valley Area (Spring Mills, PA)

The Crushers now own a 1-2 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Bishop Carroll for a Laurel Highlands 2 test on Thursday, August 29. Bishop McCort will face a Huskies squad coming off a 3-0 league win over Greater Johnstown (Johnstown, PA). The Huskies record now stands at 3-1.
