Florida High School Volleyball - George Jenkins over Lake Gibson

The George Jenkins Eagles volleyball team scored 3 points and restricted the host Lake Gibson Braves to 0 in the Eagles non-league triumph on Wednesday.

The Eagles now possess a 5-0 record. They play next when they travel to Dixie County for a non-league outing on Friday, August 30. George Jenkins will play a Bears team coming off a 3-0 non-league loss to Columbia (Lake City, FL). The Bears record now stands at 3-3.

With the loss, Lake Gibson drops to 2-2 on the campaign. The Braves host Lakeland Christian (Lakeland, FL) to play the Vikings in a non-league outing on Thursday, August 29. The Vikings come into the outing with a record of 2-5. Lakeland Christian won 3-1 in their recent league outing against Ridgeview Global Studies Academy (Davenport, FL)
