The George C. Marshall Statesmen walloped the host Annandale Atoms football team by a score of 40-0 in Thursday's non-league challenge.

In their next game, the Statesmen face the Falls Church Jaguars (Falls Church, VA) in a non-league challenge, on Friday, September 5. George C. Marshall will attempt to improve on its 1-0 season record. The Jaguars go into the challenge with a 1-0 record after their 38-17 non-league win over Wakefield (Arlington, VA).

The Atoms (0-1) will now prepare for their challenge against Freedom (Woodbridge, VA). The Eagles go into the non-league challenge with a 0-1 record. In their last challenge, Freedom was ripped by Osbourn Park (Manassas, VA), 40-0, in a league challenge.
