California High School Football - Garfield overwhelmed by Bakersfield

In Thursday's non-league game, the Bakersfield Drillers (Bakersfield, CA) football team triumphed over the host Garfield Bulldogs (Los Angeles, CA), by a score of 34-0.

Next, the Drillers clash with the Stockdale Mustangs (Bakersfield, CA) in a non-league outing, on Thursday, September 4. Bakersfield will attempt to move on its 2-0 season record. The Mustangs come into the outing with a 0-2 record after their 20-12 non-league loss to Highland (Bakersfield, CA).
