The Interboro Buccaneers football team (Prospect Park, PA), dropped 35-7 in Thursday's non-league bout with the visiting Bayard Rustin Golden Knights (West Chester, PA)

With the win, Bayard Rustin advances its record to 2-0 on the season. The Golden Knights host Pope John Paul II (Royersford, PA) to encounter the in a non-league bout on Friday, September 5. The go into the bout with a record of 2-0. Pope John Paul II won 20-19 in their recent non-league bout against Shawnee (Medford, NJ)

Coming up next, the Buccaneers confront the Plymouth Whitemarsh Colonials (Plymouth Meeting, PA) in a non-league contest, on Friday, September 5. Interboro will attempt to better on its 0-2 season record. The Colonials enter the contest with a 0-2 record after their 27-7 non-league loss to Wilson (West Lawn, PA).
