The Diamondback now hold a 1-0 record. They take the field next when they travel to Laughlin for a 1A Southern (8 Man) test on Friday, September 5. Beaver Dam will meet a Cougars squad coming off a 74-6 league loss to Tonopah (Tonopah, NV). The Cougars record now stands at 0-1.

With the defeat, Beatty drops to 0-1 on the season. The Hornets host Sandy Valley (Sandy Valley, NV) to face the Sidewinders in a 1A Southern (8 Man) challenge on Friday, September 5. The Sidewinders go into the challenge with a record of 0-1. Sandy Valley lost 22-16 in their recent league challenge against Spring Mountain (Las Vegas, NV)
