Michigan High School Football - Montabella smashes Byron

August 28, 2025: Byron, MI 48418

The Montabella Mustangs (Blanchard, MI) football trounced the host Byron Eagles (Byron, MI), 68-7 in Thursday's non-league outing.

The Mustangs now sport a 1-0 record. They take the field next when they host Carson City-Crystal for a Mid-State - Blue (8 Man) game on Friday, September 5. Montabella will battle a Eagles team coming off a 26-8 non-league win over Webberville (Webberville, MI). The Eagles record now stands at 1-0.

The Eagles (0-1) will now prepare for their game against Fulton (Middleton, MI). The Pirates enter the Mid-State - Red (8 Man) game with a 1-0 record. In their last game, Fulton overwhelmed Coleman (Coleman, MI), 40-26, in a non-league bout.
