The Empire Bulldogs football squad scored 46 points and limited the visiting Canadian Cougars to 12 in the Bulldogs non-league triumph on Thursday.
The Bulldogs now sport a 1-0 record. They take the field next when they travel to Thackerville for a non-league game on Friday, September 5. Empire will face a Wildcats team coming off a 58-0 non-league loss to Caddo (Caddo, OK). The Wildcats record now stands at 0-1.
The Cougars (0-1) will now prepare for their game against Arkoma (Arkoma, OK). The Mustangs enter the non-league game with a 0-1 record. In their last game, Arkoma was overwhelmed by Bluejacket (Bluejacket, OK), 46-18, in a non-league outing.
