The Galesburg-Augusta Rams football squad scored 62 points and limited the host Cassopolis Rangers to 20 in the Rams non-league triumph on Thursday.
The Rams now sport a 1-0 record. They take the field next when they host Plainwell for a non-league game on Friday, September 5. Galesburg-Augusta will face a Trojans team coming off a 21-7 non-league win over Allegan (Allegan, MI). The Trojans record now stands at 1-0.
The Rangers (0-1) will now prepare for their outing against Comstock (Kalamazoo, MI). The Colts come into the Southwest 10 outing with a 0-1 record. In their last outing, Comstock was overwhelmed by Homer (Homer, MI), 34-8, in a non-league outing.
