Virginia High School Football - McLean can't hold off Chantilly

Chantilly Chargers (Chantilly, VA) fans went home in high spirits Thursday as they saw their football team tip the host McLean Highlanders (McLean, VA), 17-14 in a non-league match.

The Chargers (1-0) will now prepare for their match against West Springfield (Springfield, VA). The Spartans come into the non-league match with a 1-0 record. In their last match, West Springfield tipped West Potomac (Alexandria, VA), 19-0, in a league match.

Coming up next, the Highlanders meet the Falls Church Jaguars (Falls Church, VA) in a non-league match, on Friday, September 12. McLean will attempt to upgrade on its 0-1 season record.
