The Churchland Truckers felled the visiting Grassfield Grizzlies football team by a score of 50-21 in Thursday's non-league test.
The Truckers now hold a 1-0 record. They take the field next when they host Bethel for a non-league test on Friday, September 5. Churchland will meet a Bruins squad coming off a 53-0 non-league win over Patrick Henry (Ashland, VA). The Bruins record now stands at 1-0.
With the defeat, Grassfield drops to 0-1 on the season. The Grizzlies host Woodside (Newport News, VA) to face the Wolverines in a non-league challenge on Friday, September 5. The Wolverines go into the challenge with a record of 0-0.
