Pennsylvania High School Football - Iroquois defeated by Conneaut Area

August 28, 2025: Erie, PA 16511

The Conneaut Area Eagles were victorious over the host Iroquois Braves football team by a score of 23-13 in Thursday's non-league challenge.

In their next game, the Eagles face the Hickory Hornets (Hermitage, PA) in a District 10 Region 4 outing, on Friday, September 5. Conneaut Area will attempt to move on its 2-0 season record. The Hornets come into the outing with a 2-0 record after their 41-24 non-league win over USO [University Prep/Sci-Tech/Obama Academy] (Pittsburgh, PA).

With the defeat, Iroquois drops to 0-2 on the campaign. The Braves travel to Eisenhower (Russell, PA) to clash with the Knights in a District 10 Region 3 game on Friday, September 5. The Knights enter the game with a record of 1-1. Eisenhower won 34-28 in their recent non-league game against Saegertown (Saegertown, PA)
