Arizona High School Football - Desert Sunrise tipped by Mesquite

The Desert Sunrise Golden Hawks football team (Maricopa, AZ), was tipped 43-40 in Thursday's non-league bout with the visiting Mesquite Wildcats (Gilbert, AZ)

The Wildcats (1-0) will now prepare for their contest against Marcos de Niza (Tempe, AZ). The Padres enter the non-league contest with a 1-0 record. In their last contest, Marcos de Niza got by Flagstaff (Flagstaff, AZ), 46-31, in a non-league contest.

Coming up next, the Golden Hawks confront the Sahuarita Mustangs (Sahuarita, AZ) in a non-league contest, on Friday, September 5. Desert Sunrise will attempt to upgrade on its 0-1 season record. The Mustangs enter the contest with a 0-1 record after their 36-10 non-league loss to Walden Grove (Sahuarita, AZ).
