    The West Bloomfield Lakers football squad scored 38 points and limited the visiting Fordson Tractors to 0 in the Lakers non-league triumph on Thursday.

    The Lakers now sport a 1-0 record. They take the field next when they host Southfield Arts & Tech for a non-league test on Friday, September 5. West Bloomfield will clash with a Warriors squad coming off a 43-8 non-league loss to East Kentwood (Kentwood, MI). The Warriors record now stands at 0-1.
