    In Thursday's non-league match, the visiting Pearland Oilers football squad scored a good 52-28 triumph over the Fulshear Chargers.

    The Oilers (1-0) will now prepare for their match against Memorial (Houston, TX). The Mustangs come into the non-league battle with a 1-0 record. In their last battle, Memorial prevailed over Seven Lakes (Katy, TX), 45-9, in a non-league battle.

    The Chargers now have a 0-1 record. They play next when they host Ridge Point for a non-league battle on Thursday, September 4. Fulshear will play a Panthers team coming off a 63-23 non-league win over Clear Springs (League City, TX). The Panthers record now stands at 1-0.
